The Princess Look
Every time I go to Sangria's, the dude who owns it is all scowling up at everybody. I have no idea why you might own a successful South Tampa restaurant full of beautiful, cash-laden people and be angry all the time, but there we have it. That dude is mad. So mad, in fact, that when we tried to have a hearty yellow rice-based dinner, the general environment was so stiffly unpleasant that we bounced across the street to the Tacqueria, where I had a tasty broccolicious mini-burrito.
On the way out, the angry Sangria's guy positiviely barked at us, "Is there something you don't like?!"
"Oh no, we'll be right back," Mark sing-songed, and we traipsed across the street with me giggling in astonishment at Sangria-man's completely extraneous ire.
I didn't really care at all, though, because I got to debut my new boots, which are softer than lamb ears brushing up against baby butts. I am tickled to no end by these boots, especially because Cole Haan is touting "Russian Glamour" as the late fall, pre-winter look, and some of my more dedicated readers may remember that when I was in Finland this summer, I bought a gorgeous, black fox fur headband, which I have been imagining is exactly what a Russian princess would wear, so, obviously, I am super-psyched to get the whole look going.

I am also psyched about all this well-deserved publicity us marvelous bloggers are getting! So psyched, in fact, that at approximately noon today, I called Tommy and chirped insistently until he agreed to meet me at the corner of Franklin and Madison, where we made sure everyone in downtown Tampa knows just how much we rock the triple-w and Tampa at large!
