Extravagance on a Friday

Oooh, look at my hair!

My hair is exactly waist-length. I'm pretty careful about not letting it get any longer or shorter than that, so when you see my hair soaked from roots to tips like this, you know somebody made me move.

That somebody would be DJ Tony at Jackson's. Wow.

I did the whole previously scheduled itinerary, which was neat. I got sorta swindled into buying a spoooooooky picture at the Bad People thing. I didn't mind, though, because I was could tell I was getting played and played well at that, and I sorta wanted to play along just for the sake of it. Plus, in case you've forgotten, I need a job, so when other people are trying to make money, I will acquiesce when possible in the hope of generating positive karma.

Sarah's birthday was cool, too, but I had to bounce, because now that I don't smoke, I find smoke-cloud bars to be only so bearable for so long. Sarah seemed very cheerful and overwhelmed and wore a beautiful silky green tunic which complemented her shiny brown hair very nicely. Charmaine wore a fetching white linen outfit that made me think of colonialism and aristocracy, and Lil Sis freaked out on me for something I didn't understand. She drove home in a huff, so I went to Jackson's solo.

That place is just straight-up banging in your area. Gorgeous people paying fine attention to the couture. The music was hot. The crowd was sweet. The vibe was just amazing. I will almost definitely be back there next Friday.

And, yes, that is the new fall edition Coach hobo swinging from my arm up there. Check the reinforced shoulder wrap and triple stitch tassle on the zipper! Pretty, pretty!
